Welcome to Beverley Minster House - your 5* holiday home in the heart of Beverley
Lying in the shadow of historic Beverley Minster, this recently restored Grade II listed town house combines Georgian charm with modern comfort. It offers the ideal central location for your self-catering holiday, perfect for exploring the attractions and amenities of this picturesque market town.
The 3-storey town house sleeps six people, with a master bedroom and en-suite bathroom, 2 two double/twin bedrooms (1 en-suite), family bathroom, traditional lounge, spacious living/dining area, and fully equipped kitchen leading onto a secluded, enclosed courtyard garden. Free wifi and nearby on-street parking are available throughout your stay.
Ground Floor:
Enter via the tiled entrance hall. The traditional lounge on the right with Roku streaming TV features Georgian style panelling with a secret door through to the living/dining area and a gas fire with period surround.
The hallway leads through to the open plan kitchen/living/dining area and downstairs cloakroom at the rear. Settle on the comfy leather sofa in front of the log-effect gas stove right next to the window opposite the Minster, where a second smart TV is provided for your entertainment as well as a range of books and games.
Cook in style in our fully equipped kitchen area, complete with breakfast bar. All Bosch appliances are integrated and include a single oven and grill, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Large Georgian style patio doors lead onto the enclosed courtyard garden with table and chairs to relax and enjoy the sounds and view of the imposing Minster opposite.
First Floor: Front Landing
The master bedroom with king size bed features a charming window seat overlooking the Minster, original Georgian panelling and a character fireplace. The spacious en-suite bathroom has a shower, basin and WC.
First floor: Rear landing
Take time out for pampering in our traditional family bathroom, complete with freestanding bath, separate shower, sink and WC. A second double/twin bedroom overlooks the courtyard garden.
Second Floor
Relax in another double/twin bedroom with original Georgian wood panelling and a cast iron fireplace. A separate ensuite WC and hand basin leads off this room.
For your comfort
The property is centrally heated throughout. Quality linen and towels are provided and a travel cot and high chair are available on request. Due to the large number of stairs the house may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.
Normal rental periods are from Friday to Friday, but shorter breaks are also available at certain times. We love our pets, but regret that due to the town centre location we are unable to accept them. Also, part of the charm of being adjacent to Beverley Minster means that the church bells and clock are audible from the house.
