TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Terms and Conditions

Bookings
Bookings must be made by an adult over 18 and that named person or party leader is responsible for all guests throughout your stay. Bookings are not transferable to another party.

Once your booking request is received, we will send you a confirmation e-mail or letter requesting a deposit/full payment. Once payment is cleared, a contract will exist between you and AAOM Ltd (“we” or “us”) and you agree to adhere to these terms and conditions throughout your stay. It is your responsibility to check that all booking details, including the rental dates, are correct.

Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the rental fee is due at the time of booking. The balance must then be paid 8 weeks before the start date of your holiday. Payments can be made by cheque or BACS transfer as detailed on your invoice.

For reservations made less than 8 weeks prior to your arrival date, the full balance is due at the time of booking.

Cancellation
In the event that you need to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. If your cancellation is received more than 6 weeks before your rental start date, then only the deposit will be forfeited. If we receive less than 6 weeks’ notice, then you will be liable for the total cost of your holiday. You may wish to consider obtaining holiday cancellation insurance.

Should we have to cancel your booking due to damage or essential repairs at the property we will offer you a full refund or the option of re-booking your holiday subject to availability. No other compensation will be offered.

Booking Amendments
Please advise us as early as possible if you need to make any changes to your booking. We will endeavour to accommodate alternative date requests subject to availability, but you will be responsible for any additional rental charges.

Period of Hire
Unless otherwise agreed, the property will be available from 4pm on your arrival date. Please vacate the premises by 10am on your departure date to allow time to prepare for our next guests. Arrangements for key collection will be advised prior to your stay.

Occupancy
The number of guests occupying the property must not exceed 6, except for an accompanying infant/baby. We can provide a travel cot, high chair and stair gate free of charge during your stay if pre-booked.

You are welcome to entertain visitors but they must not be accommodated overnight. Please note that functions, parties, hen or stag events are not permitted during your stay. Unreasonable behaviour on the part of any guest that causes offence to others or damage to the property will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask guests to leave with no refund if these conditions are not adhered to.

Pets
Much as we love our animals, we regret that we cannot accommodate any pets at the property due to its town centre location.

Smoking
Beverley Minster House is a non-smoking/non-vaping property.

Parking
Your reservation includes parking permits for up to 2 cars for the duration of your stay. These permits must be clearly displayed on the front dashboard. Vehicles can be parked in any on-street residents’ parking bays in the area, but spaces cannot be guaranteed or reserved.

Internet
We provide a free broadband internet connection at Beverley Minster House, subject to network availability. We do operate a fair usage policy and excessive usage/streaming may be subject to an additional charge. By using this connection guests agree not to undertake any illegal internet activity, including downloading of copyright material.

Care of the property
We ask guests to respect the property as you would your own home and take all reasonable care to avoid damage to furniture and fittings. Please leave the house in a clean, tidy state at the end of your stay. You will be liable for the cost of damages, breakages, losses and any additional repairs and cleaning due to non-compliance of this condition.

Guest Safety/ Mobility
Guests must accept responsibility for their own safety in and around the property and supervise children accordingly. The property is over 300 years old and features some low doorways, uneven floors and steep staircases which may not be suitable for people with restricted mobility.

Neighbourhood/Beverley Minster
Please remember that you are staying in a terraced house in a quiet residential area. We ask that noise is kept to a minimum, particularly after 10pm and when in the courtyard garden, to avoid disturbing our neighbours.

Please also respect the fact that Beverley Minster is a busy, active place of worship with regular services, weddings, funerals, concerts and events. Part of the charm of being opposite this magnificent church inevitably means that the bells and chiming clock are audible from the property.

Right of Entry
We, or our representative, reserve the right, on prior notice, to enter the property at a reasonable time for the purpose of inspection or to carry out any necessary repairs or maintenance during your stay.

Liability
We shall not be liable for the non-provision of any of the services at Beverley Minster House in circumstances that are beyond our control.

Special Requests
Should you have any special requests regarding your stay please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best, but cannot guarantee, to accommodate them.

Complaints
We want to ensure that you enjoy your time at Beverley Minster House, so please advise us of any issues that arise so that we can do our best to address them during your stay.
